We stayed at the Sofitel for 2 nights and found the service, rooms and staff all excellent. Although not in Central Bangkok, we were able to access all areas of the City without much of a problem. Taxi Fare of THB 100 (15 minutes journey) from the hotel to one of the Piers for a Ferry Trip along the River (THB 13) is definitely recommended. Our twin bedded room at the hotel was large, clean and first class. The food in the Vietnamese Restaurant was excellent and the breakfast in the Cafe was also very good.I definitely want to return to this hotel in near future..
